Improving our product's security and reliability
We strenghtend your cybersecurity with a new Web Application Firewall (WAF) for custom domains and the website builder, improving protection against DDoS attacks and SQL injections.
We've also implemented several updates, including improvements to our databases. At TrekkSoft, we are continuously working to ensure a stable and reliable system for our customers. Currently, we're in the midst of larger infrastructure upgrades that are scheduled for completion in 2025.
New launched marketplaces
In 2024, ExperienceBank connected 6 additional marketplaces:

- Local Experiences
- Swiss Tours
- Picniq
- Gurtenbahn
- BLS
Complete transition to GA4 incl. new widget events to be tracked
In July 2024, the Universal Analytics (UA) was deprecated. Since then all tracking is handled via Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Find here more information.
Along that change, we also implemented two additional new events that can be tracked in google analytics and help creating the widget funnel to check conversion rates better.
- Date in calendar selected: Track when visitors are picking dates right in your booking widget.
- Price category selected: Gain insights when customers choose their ticket types.
Coupled with the existing events (widget opened, cart item added, booking successful), you're now equipped to build a comprehensive conversion funnel.
mPOS app - ticket scan improvements
When several guests are part of a booking, you're now able to select whether you want to check-in only one guest, all or single guests (always including the one the ticket belongs to). This will simplify the check-in process, as you don't have to scan each guest's ticket that belongs to the same booking. Additionally, you now see in the popup as well the allocated resource. The staff member doing the check-in can then immediately send the guests to the right bus or guide. Read more here
1) You are now able to see in the booking details itself, which resources are allocated to the guest.
2) In order to align our cancellation/ refund process to how it works on the Admin Desk, we implemented the option to cancel and refund now single guests via the POS Desk as well.
3) We now only show the "booking fee" in the cancellation popup on POS and Admin Desk, when there is a booking fee connected. If no booking fee was charged during the booking process, this checkbox won't appear in this popup.
New Activity filter in guest list (on Admin Desk)
We added an activity filter to the guest list, so now when anonymizing for instance guest data, you can easily select one or several activities to do this for. 
Option to remove the logo link from confirmation email
When using the booking widget, then you can now remove the link from the logo in the confirmation email that is sent to you customers. The link previously forwarded to your TrekkSoft Domain - which some of the TrekkSoft users use as their website.
Where can I remove the link from the logo?
You go in your Admin Desk to Settings - Profile - Notifications
Here you can enable the checkbox to remove the logo link for all email communication.

Outlook into new features
Self cancellation feature
In November 2024 we launched our first MVP (minimum viable product) solution for the self cancellation feature. Together with a group of customers, we are currently defining the next steps in order to improve the feature and launch it next year.
