Product updates
16th October 2020 - These are the new tools we've built to replace the old ones
To avoid supporting duplicate tools and features, we are aiming to only support the new tools from January 1st 2021.
Throughout 2020, we've built and released newer versions of key TrekkSoft features. We now think that these new features are stable and powerful enough to completely replace some of our older features.
To ensure a smooth transition, we're working hard to add missing features to these tools. Are there tasks you can’t do with the new tools that you could previously do with the old ones? Please let us know.
These are new tools and the old features they'll be replacing:
1. Booking Widget 3.0 is replacing the old booking widget
Compared to the old booking widget, Booking Widget 3.0 offers your customers a better online booking experience. It also includes the "floating cart" which allows customers to add multiple tours to their basket as they browse your website. When they're done, they can easily pay for all their tours in one go.

2. POS Desk is replacing Booking desk
We released the POS Desk early 2019 and have been gradually expanded the feature set of this tool. Today, the POS Desk is the preferred sales tool for many operators, sales agents and local resellers.

3. mPOS is replacing the mobile app
The new mPOS was designed for busy days. We simplified the navigation and reduced the steps required to complete a booking. You can also access rental schedules and shop items from the mPOS, making it easier to upsell customers wherever you are. You can download the mPOS for your Android or Apple device.
