The dashboard

The first thing you see when you log in to your TrekkSoft account is what we call the Dashboard. The dashboard gives a general overview of your upcoming trips and activities, the latest registered bookings, and other useful links for managing your operations.

Before we explain the dashboard in detail, know that there are two views of it. One for when you are setting up your account, guiding you through the set-up process, and the other for when your store has been enabled, showing the latest activities in your account.

Let’s look at the two views.


Dashboard 1: The Set-up Dashboard

The first time you log in and up until your store is enabled, your dashboard will look like this:


This has four simple steps: steps 1-3 help you create your first bookable activity and step 4 lets you set up your profile information. Once you have completed these steps, you have a bookable activity! You can now enable your store to start selling. You will also now see the second view of the dashboard.

Dashboard 2: The Main Dashboard

Once your store is enabled, this is the view you will have. From this dashboard you can easily see your latest bookings and upcoming activities when you log in.



At top of the dashboard, you’ll find the tab Upcoming Activities. Here you can see two buttons for quick access to Create an activity and Manage availabilities.

Create an activity - This takes you to the activity creation page.

Manage availabilities - This takes you to your manifest & triplist page. Here you can manage your specific trip/activity dates. You can also view trip details and edit, cancel or delete an activity/trip.

Underneath, you will also see a list of your upcoming trips, including when the activity will take place, how many seats are occupied, and a “Details” link to see more. You can filter this list by activity, department, and departure date.

On the right-hand side of the dashboard, you will see the Bookings tab. There are three shortcut buttons here:

Distribute your products - This takes you to the Marketplaces section. Here you can apply for and edit your marketplaces.

Create discount codes - Click to create discounts codes to lower a passenger’s trip cost by a set percentage.

Create voucher codes - Click to create voucher codes to lower the price of a trip by a set amount of money.

Below this, there is a summary of your most recent bookings. You can see: when a booking was made, what activity was booked, how many seats were taken, who made the booking, what they paid and through which booking channel.

Here’s an explanation of the different booking channels:

  • Mobile (Phone)
  • Web (Globe)
  • Agent Desk (Earpiece)
  • Backend App (Smart Phone)
  • Widget (Gears)

To see all of your bookings, click on the green Show All button. This will take you to the Bookings page for a complete overview.
