Sell your tours on our partner Marketplaces

TrekkSoft gives you access to multiple marketplace channels from one convenient dashboard. You can apply to each marketplace separately and have to opt-in to their Terms of Service agreement to be featured.

To see all marketplaces that are available to you, go to the Channel Manager > Marketplaces section on the left navigation bar. This will bring you to the Marketplaces section of your account.

From this page, you can add an image that will be displayed at the top of your tour operator page in the TrekkMarket.

To apply to our partner's marketplaces, simply click the blue Apply button under the marketplace you would like to be added to.

You will see the specific marketplace's Terms of Service pop up, as well as the commission rate that is charged on all sales that come from this channel.

If you accept the terms and commission rate, click the Accept Terms of Service and Send Application button. This will send your application to the partner. Once your application is reviewed, you will receive a response in the memo notification section of your account. These notifications appear as small envelopes in the top right corner of the page.

After Being Accepted to a Marketplace

There are a few more important steps to take after being accepted into a marketplace. First, you must share your tours with the marketplace, so that they will be displayed for sale. This can be done by going to the Channel Manager section in the Edit Tour page of each tour and checking off which marketplaces to share the tour with.

When a tour has been sold through another marketplace, it will show up in your Bookings Overview section just like a regular order.

Each marketplace will only pay you when the trip's departure date has occurred, and you will not be paid on the actual date of the transaction. If a customer purchases a ticket in January for a tour in March, this money will not be paid until the March tour has occurred. This is to avoid any accounting issues if a customer is refunded before the trip, or if the particular trip is canceled.

For a convenient overview that keeps track of these balances for you, go to the Marketplace tab, under the Accounting section on the left navigation bar.

    Either I am not as smart as I thought I was or you have changed these options? I could not find the Channel Manager on the activity itself but had to go to Channel Manager on the dashboard, then Marketplaces, then Manage.
