Customise your Emails

Personalizing your Customer Communications can be great way for you to get a long lasting relationship with your customers.

You can customize all your customer communication channels such as emails, tickets and Terms & Conditions. In this article, we’ll go through how to do these customizations and what to think about when doing them.  

Click on Design and pages in the top menu and then Templates.





Edit automated emails

To edit the automatic emails sent to customers, select the Emails tab at the top of the templates page.

Here, you’ll find a list of automated emails and a description of when each email is sent out. To customize these emails, simply click on the pencil on the right.



When editing the email templates, you can use placeholders.

For example, if you would like to mention your customer’s name in the email, you can add {user.firstname} in place of the actual name of your customers.

Say Bob books a trip with you and in the confirmation email, you say:

“Hey {user.firstname}, thanks for booking a trip with us!”

Bob will get an email saying:

“Hey Bob, thanks for booking a trip with us!”

We have a list of different placeholders for you to add to your emails to make them more personal and friendly. The available placeholders are listed at the bottom of the Edit e-mail page.
